PackRat by Alamofire
Almofire, aka the guys from Firewheel Design, committed another crime against the poor gambler that I am. After having me addicted to IconBuffet, they got me addicted to PackRat, a game running on Facebook. Knowing my dislike of the said FaceBook, it’s kind of an exploit. So now, I’m collecting virtual cards, the way I collected Panini stickers when I was a kid.
Alamofire’s website says the company crafts addictive, lightweight social games that spark your mind without stealing your soul. Without stealing your soul?? Who are they kidding?
I read a post on the board, from a guy who threatened a “friend” for stealing one of his beloved cards. Since it’s probably the funniest way of collecting new cards - it’s encouraged - you can imagine the situation. The board is so full of drama.
But maybe you think there’s nothing interesting about collecting virtual cards. Hum… maybe you’re right, but it doesn’t mean it can’t be addictive. So think again before giving it a try. I wont take any responsibility for new addictions, lost of sleep, appetite and sanity.
